I haven't seen it, but it seems like the media is pushing for him to get an Oscar nomination, which just sounds crazy to me. But the Oscars have been crazier.
I think Borat is hilarious and I really can't wait to see the movie.

Shelly, did u guys already see the movie and if so...how was it? I've seen clips from Ali G Show online 'cos I don't have pay cable and he's a laugh riot. Btw, he was great in "Talladega Nights:The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" w/ Will Farrel!! ;D lmao Recently I watched "A Mighty Wind" (2003) on Comedy Central and it was pretty funny too. Three outta of the 4 members of Spinal Tap as a folk band called the Folksmen..hehe Oh and I finally saw Kevin Spacey in "Beyond the Sea" and Christian Bale in "The Machinist." BOTH kicked ass! It's obvious I can't write bad reviews. If I did, it'd be a waste of time. I mean, why even talk about crappy stuff not worth mentioning, eh?!

DOUBLE-POST ALERT... Hey Shelly, I am an idiot yessss....the Borat film doesn't open 'til November 3rd I noticed! Everyone I work w/ wants to see it immediately, tho, when it's released. ;D BTW, Lynch rules but probably couldn't handle Freddy Krueger in fisticuffs...agreed !! 'Back when Lynch was into bodybuilding tho??!! No chance 4 Freddy, Shelly! FYI...Nightmare on Elm Street house in LA was sold recently. I saw it on TV piece as "Freddy Krueger's house sold!" LOL "The place at 1428 N. Genesee Avenue in Los Angeles. For those of us who don't know everything Freddy Krueger, that address is the location of the house used in the Nightmare films, otherwise known as "Nancy's house." It has 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a pool and a fireplace. And it is selling for just under $2 million. The ad for the home says it's a bit of a fixer (must be all the damage from Freddy) but "with some work this could be your Family Dream House.""
